WINTER GONE WILD, THE SEASONS UNOFFICIAL UNIFORM

During my Art Direction for Fashion short course at Central Saint Martins, we were tasked with researching predicted trends for AW24/25 and responding with an editorial pitch presentation. After identifying four recurring elements from the March runway shows, I chose to focus on the anticipated trend of “fur” coats.

In my editorial, I reimagined the “fur” coat - typically associated with bold luxury - as a symbol of playful extravagance, even in life’s most ordinary moments. Drawing inspiration from the over-the-top fashion of the 90s sitcom The Nanny and Fran Fine’s signature style of always dressing to impress, my concept celebrated unapologetic expression and the joy of embracing the dramatic, no matter the occasion.
